American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Med/Ortho unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license, at least 1 year of specialty experience, and AHA-required certifications including ACLS and NIHSS.

Details

• Position is in an Intermediate Care (IMC) Med/Ortho unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift: 0700–1930, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need and scope of competency
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Ortho or IMC nursing experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• TNCC preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
• Proficiency in documentation, delegation, supervision, consultation, and resource utilization
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; health teaching and counseling; executing delegated medical functions; and referring patients as needed
• Nurses are expected to review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
