American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) Surgical Tech for a day shift, 4x10 hospital position requiring NBSTSA certification and at least 2 years of OR CST experience.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR setting
• Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• 4x10-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule (Week 1: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu; Week 2: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri)
• On-call responsibilities required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN/CST license currently in hand (no pending licensure)
• NBSTSA certification required — no substitute certifications accepted
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Minimum 2 years of OR CST experience with at least one completed travel assignment, or 3+ years of OR CST experience
• ADN or higher education required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not eligible — at least one completed prior travel assignment is required
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — RTO will not be approved if not submitted at the time of consideration
• Vaccination status documentation required
• Floating between like units and nearby campuses (within 20 miles) is possible but expected to be rare
