American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Nurse Navigator Oncology position at a Cancer Center in Irvine, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and Cerner experience.

• Position is based in a Cancer Center within a hospital setting
• Unit: Nurse Navigator Oncology
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• 5x8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active California RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of acute care experience required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent oncology or specialty experience within the past 2 years required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or director from the relevant unit within the past year

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies
• No RTO (requested time off) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling is available
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
