American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting — Magnet facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• 407-bed facility
• Case management unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours; shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required and expected
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free on-site parking
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active Alaska (AK) RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates must permanently reside at least 50 miles from the facility

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration for an auto offer; candidates with a pending AK RN license may still be screened
