American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion position requiring 1-2 years of ambulatory oncology experience and an active MA RN license.

• Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion unit setting
• Patient population includes oncology patients with complex care needs requiring chemotherapy, symptom management, and care coordination
• Day shift: 08:00–16:30
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic for charting
• Epic experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate required
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) required after 2 years of hire or after reaching 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• 1–2 years of ambulatory oncology experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
• Outpatient chemotherapy infusion experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, patient education, care planning, symptom management, and coordination of outpatient services
• Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to address complex care needs of oncology patients and their caregivers
• Practices according to ANA and ONS standards of care
• Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking available at Boston-area locations; public transportation or paid public parking lots are available nearby
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
