American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital in Ohio, requiring at least 2 years of experience and rotating day/night shifts with weekend availability.

Details

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit
• Medical-surgical patient population with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights
• Weekends scheduled as needed
• Charting via Allscripts EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 supervisor/peer references required (1 supervisor, 1 peer or additional supervisor)
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a subsequent 2-year break
• Work history covering the past 7 years (or since graduation, whichever is less) is required, with no gaps greater than 30 days
