Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital-based surgical unit in Waterloo, Iowa, requiring call rotation coverage including weekends, weeknights, and holidays.

Details

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (36-hour weeks) or 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM; 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM for 40-hour weeks
• Weekend call required approximately every 4th–5th weekend
• Weeknight call required approximately every 1–2 weeks
• Holiday call rotation required

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license recognized in Iowa
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR/surgical nursing experience required
