American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby / Post Partum position in Lone Tree, CO, requiring at least 1 year of acute care Mother/Baby experience and current NRP certification.

Details

• Work takes place in a 26-bed Mother Baby unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios are approximately 1:3 to 1:4
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 7–8 RNs, and 1 Lactation Consultant (LC)
• EMR system used is Meditech / CPN
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics) certifications required — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Mother/Baby hospital experience required
• At least 2 years of total clinical experience required for this HCA facility
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing circumcisions and educating new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health
• Lactation and newborn transitions experience are preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
