American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department position at a Level 2 Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center
• High-acuity patient population averaging approximately 220 patients per day
• Fast-paced environment with a high volume of trauma cases
• Evening shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and TNCC (pending TNCC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• 2-Step PPD tuberculosis test and Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to high-acuity emergency and trauma patients in a high-volume setting
• 13-week contract
