American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and pre-op experience with both pediatric and adult patients.

Details

• Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) in a hospital setting
• Handles a wide range of surgical specialties including plastics, orthopedics, GYN, neurosurgery/spine, urology, ENT, vascular, bariatric, colorectal, and breast surgery
• Patient population spans pediatrics through geriatrics
• Pre-op ratios of 8–10 patients per shift in a fast-paced environment
• Staggered start times: Pre-op shifts run 5:30 AM–4:00 PM (Mon–Wed/Fri) and 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Thursdays); Phase II shifts run 8:00 AM–6:30 PM (Mon–Wed/Fri) and 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (Thursdays)
• 10-hour day shifts
• No weekend, holiday, float, or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland (MD) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pre-op experience with both pediatric and adult patients required
• Experience in a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
