American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Respiratory Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Cerner EMR skills.

Details

• 39-bed private room Medical/Surgical/Respiratory Intermediate Care unit
• Respiratory intermediate care patient population
• Cerner EMR in use
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state required
• Current BLS certification required; must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Full Social Security Number and US address required
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred but not required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred but not required
• Holiday coverage is required for both July 4th and Labor Day
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
