American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Med/Ortho position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit within a Med/Ortho department
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Orthopedic and intermediate care patient population
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Med/Ortho or IMC specialty setting required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• TNCC certification preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Skills in documentation, delegation, supervision, consultation, and resource utilization

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for orthopedic and intermediate care patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient life and well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
