American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring at least 2 years of experience, endovascular skills, and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting
• Adult to geriatric patient population
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Endovascular procedures performed, including EVAR and vascular service line cases; experience with CSI and Penumbra systems preferred
• Epic EMR (preferred); Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Overnight call required approximately 2x per week after shift; regular day call approximately 1x per month; approximately 2 weekend call shifts per month
• Floating to the Main OR may occasionally be required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or compact state license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Endovascular and vascular service line experience required

• Local candidates are accepted
• OR scrubs are provided by the facility
• RTO is capped at 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12)
• Holiday coverage policy: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work 2, with 1 holiday RTO request eligible for review — Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• No scheduling changes or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess clinical fit prior to manager consideration
• Full compliance must be completed on time to avoid a potential 2-week orientation schedule delay
