American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel contract at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA, requiring diagnostic cardiac cath lab experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 212 staffed beds
• Cath Lab unit focusing on diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, and right and left heart catheterization
• Circulating procedures required
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00–17:30
• On-call required: weeknight and weekend evenings from 17:30–07:00 (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
• Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Diagnostic cardiac cath lab experience required
• Experience with cardiac stent placement and right and left heart catheterization required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
