American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Santa Clara, CA, requiring Level III NICU experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR (experience expected)

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent NICU experience within the last 3 years
• Level III NICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 7 years of Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the same rate as travel candidates
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of cumulative assignment time without taking a minimum 90-day consecutive break — this applies regardless of whether assignments are continuous or have gaps of less than three months
