American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology (Hem/Onc) position requiring at least 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology experience and APHON chemotherapy certification.

Details

• Outpatient/ambulatory General Hematology/Oncology unit in a pediatric hospital setting
• Weekend block position: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, plus either Monday or Thursday
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (19:00–07:00)
• 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Epic (experience expected)

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy Certification
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology (Hem/Onc) nursing experience required
• BMT (bone marrow transplant) experience preferred, but Hem/Onc-only experience is acceptable
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted (medical or religious)
• DOB required for candidate consideration
• Two professional references preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• Nurses are expected to function as collaborative team members, providing support beyond their individual patient assignment
• Any color scrubs are permitted
• This is a nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing is included in the drug screen
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of profile submission
