American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology (Hem/Onc) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology experience and active GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Hospital-based ambulatory unit specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology (Hem/Onc)
• Pediatric oncology and hematology patient population
• 13-week contract
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy (CHEON)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric Hem/Onc experience required
• BMT experience preferred, but Hem/Onc-only experience is acceptable
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions (medical or religious) accepted
• Must be able to pass a nicotine screening as part of the drug screen

Additional Information

• Epic EMR experience will be utilized in this role
• Nurses are expected to collaborate as part of the unit team and provide support beyond their individual patient assignment, contributing to overall unit needs
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront
• Two professional references preferred
