Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring open heart experience, EPIC proficiency, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.

Details

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a hospital environment
• Cardiovascular surgical patient population, including open heart cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Alternating days off schedule
• On-call required 1–2 days per week with a mandatory 30-minute response time
• Weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend is defined as Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
• Holiday coverage required as needed, with an expectation to work at least one major holiday
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgical experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must be able to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes

Additional Information

• Manager interview is required as part of the selection process
• Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit prior to manager review
• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
