American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Neuro unit requiring strong Epic skills and hands-on neuro experience including neurosurgery, stroke, and Neuro-PIN patients.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Neuro unit of an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes CVA, TIA, AMS, Neuro-PIN, and general medical diagnoses
• Specialized procedures include neurosurgeries and Neuro-PIN patient management
• Patient ratio is 1:5-6
• Epic EMR with strong proficiency required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Block scheduling will be accommodated when possible

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (may be submitted pending)
• Minimum 1 year of neuro-specific nursing experience required, including Neuro-PIN, trauma, neurosurgery, and stroke
• Strong Epic skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Care for a neurological patient population with diagnoses including CVA, TIA, AMS, and various general medical conditions
• Perform and assist with neuro-specific procedures including neurosurgeries and Neuro-PIN patient care
