American Traveler is seeking a travel RN House Supervisor with ED or ICU experience for a 13-week assignment at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Hood River, OR, with Epic proficiency required.

Details

• Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds and teaching hospital designation
• House Supervisor role with floating required across units based on candidate skill set and facility needs
• Travelers may be required to float to other facilities across Oregon, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Wilsonville, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
• Day and night shifts available, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00)
• Weekends required on a variable schedule alongside weekdays
• No set patient ratios for this supervisor role
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
• No parking fees at the facility

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ED or ICU background required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS highly desired; candidates without PALS may be considered but are not preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Oversees hospital operations as House Supervisor, floating to units based on skill set and staffing needs
• Refusal to float to assigned units or facilities may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be addressed prior to submission as post-offer RTO changes may be denied
• When floating to the Seaside facility from a non-Seaside assignment, a $5/hr incentive and IRS mileage reimbursement are provided; hotel accommodations may be offered for consecutive floating shifts to Seaside
