American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a cardiac background and proven success in high-volume, high-pressure hospital environments.

Details

• 28-bed PCU/IMCU (Intermediate Coronary Care) within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain presentations
• Cardiac drip management required, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Patient ratio of 1:3–4
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Documented PCU or IMCU experience required — must be reflected in work history
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospitals with complex and diverse patient cases required
• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced trauma environments required
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
