American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift travel contract in Sioux City, IA, requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Level 3 trauma center emergency department setting in Sioux City, IA
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every 3rd weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Candidate's taxable home address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of emergency patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have been employed by the client facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
• Summer holiday coverage required: travelers must work 1–2 of the following 3 holidays — Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Orientation consists of two separate two-day sessions
