American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN/LVN with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting in Sioux Falls, SD.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with a current census of approximately 42 beds
• Elderly patient population with multiple diagnoses
• Patient ratios vary; days shift is approximately 1:21, up to 1:42
• 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the EMR system
• Orientation consists of 1 day of facility-specific orientation followed by up to 3 days on the floor with staff

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license required; must be active and in good standing (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience required — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required; copies of active certifications required (pending certifications not accepted)
• LTC/SNF experience preferred given patient population
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are subject to local pay rates
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Nursys verification required for LPN submissions

Additional Information

• Care for elderly residents with multiple concurrent diagnoses in a post-acute environment
• No on-call or call-back requirements for this position
• Local candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required on an every-other basis
