American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic position in San Antonio, TX, requiring at least 1 year of clinical experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric rheumatology clinic setting
• Pediatric rheumatology patient population
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in TX or compact state in good standing
• Current AHA BLS certification (must not be expired)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Insurance authorization experience highly preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects, and documenting patient history and care
• Provides patient and family education, including identifying resources and addressing psychosocial and cultural needs
