Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Coronary Care ICU (CICU) position requiring 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience and EPIC proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes overflow from Medical ICU, rapid response team (RRT) distress cases, and other critical care diagnoses
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
• Level II trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to a complex cardiac patient population including overflow and RRT cases

• 13-week contract assignment
