American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Surgical Unit position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Surgical Unit within a Medical/Surgical department
• Adult patient population receiving pre- and post-operative surgical care
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on qualifications
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changes in patient condition

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Initiates and maintains computerized Plans of Care on patient admission
• BSN or MSN preferred
• CMSRN certification preferred
• CRASE training is preferred; required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months
• International candidates are not eligible for this position
