American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Adult Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of ED experience, trauma experience, and AHA certifications on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Adult Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Travel and trauma experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS, both issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Involves patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care with appropriate personnel
• Previous travelers or workers at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 weeks of total tenure before being eligible for a new contract
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding (drug screen, background check, medical requirements) immediately upon acceptance
