American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care position requiring both adult and pediatric experience, Cerner proficiency, and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Ambulatory care clinic setting
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00am–4:30pm; Thursday 9:00am–6:30pm (5x8-hour shifts)
• Every 1st and 3rd Saturday 8:00am–4:30pm required, with a corresponding weekday off during those weeks
• Mandatory float facility — clinicians may be floated to any Cook facility within 50 miles, including outside of primary competency area, with as little as 2 hours notice
• Charting via Cerner
• Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Both adult and pediatric nursing experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Proof of COVID vaccination required; no exceptions

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at 5 days total for the assignment, with no more than 2 consecutive days off at a time
• No RTO will be approved on weekends, on holidays, or the day before or after a holiday
• No special or block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
• Clinicians floated outside their primary area of competency will work within a team-based care model
