American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with open heart OR experience for a 13-week travel contract, working 4x10-hour day shifts with on-call requirements.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Procedures include CABG, mitral/tricuspid/aortic valve replacement and repair, aortic dissections, pericardial window, thoracotomies, and VATS; robotic experience in chest cases is preferred
• Experience with ECMO, LVAD, and Impella is required
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call is required with a 30-minute response time (non-negotiable)
• EMR: Epic experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Open heart OR experience is required
• ECMO, LVAD, and Impella experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• First-time travelers are not considered unless the candidate has open heart OR experience
