Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring critical care experience, Cerner proficiency, and ACLS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Acute care hospital ICU setting with 36 private beds, currently utilizing 24
• Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB conditions
• Patient ratio is 1:2, with the possibility of up to 1:3
• Charting via Cerner EMR
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week with self-scheduling; day shifts run 0700–1930 and night shifts run 1900–0730
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; days include Saturday and Sunday, nights include Friday and Saturday
• Floating to the stepdown unit is possible

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• BSN not required
