American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and the ability to both scrub and circulate.

Details

• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• On-call responsibilities are required for this position
• No block scheduling is available
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses located within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating in a cardiovascular OR setting
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Candidate's driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• Two professional references required — one within the past year and one additional reference
• Full demographic information required for consideration, including full DOB, SSN, and RN license number

Additional Information

• Nurses begin orientation on a Friday; remote orientation is completed prior to an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID issuance, requiring candidates to be in the area on that day
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the unit culture — flexibility and being a team player are highly valued
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after an offer is made
• A PDF copy of nursing school accreditation verification is required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly welcomed; prior travel experience is highly preferred
