American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Supervisory LTC role at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in New York, requiring a valid NY RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) unit within a 300-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center
• Primary patient population includes residents with Alzheimer's and dementia
• Role includes both supervisory responsibilities over other nursing staff and working a medication cart
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM
• Every other weekend required
• EMR: PointClickCare (experience preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• COVID vaccination required
• LTC experience preferred; candidates with rehab, med/surg, or other recent acute care experience will also be considered

Additional Information

• Supervise nursing staff while also performing medication pass duties
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — no changes to shift or RTO will be accepted after an offer is extended
