American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float Pool RN for a 13-week night shift contract at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position at a large academic medical center in Ohio
• Float coverage across multiple ICU environments, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
• Floating is within units of equivalent or lower acuity only
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) plus one additional day per week
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• IV start, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across a variety of ICU settings based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• No break required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
