American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Poughkeepsie, NY, requiring an active NY RN license, NRP, and a minimum of 3 years of current L&D experience.

• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Alternating weekends required, with Sundays required
• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Responsibilities include OR circulating, C-sections, and PACU/recovery room care
• High-risk OB setting experience is preferred
• Timekeeping system: Kronos

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NY RN license required; a screenshot or photo of a completed license application is acceptable if the license is pending
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP Advanced, and NCC C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) — all BLS and NRP certifications must be AHA-issued
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required; Advanced EFM is not acceptable
• Minimum 3 years of current, active Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience with OR circulating, C-sections, and PACU/recovery room care required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from the prior year in the same specialty, provided by a manager or above

• Candidates who have previously worked at any facility within this health system may be subject to a review process to determine eligibility to return
• High-risk OB experience is preferred and may strengthen candidacy
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
• Candidates must complete onboarding modules prior to assignment start; a transcript will be provided upon completion
• If any certifications or licenses are expiring during the assignment period, include renewal receipts or scheduled course dates
