Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in Oklahoma City, requiring Level 1 trauma experience and at least one year of CVICU nursing experience.

Details

• Hospital-based position in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU/Cardio PICU)
• Day shift schedule, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week
• Level 1 trauma experience required for this unit
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of one year of CVICU nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, regulating IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating with physicians and support staff
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation before being eligible for a new contract; prior travelers may only extend once, for a total of 26 weeks
• This facility enforces strict compliance deadlines — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer
