American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Allergy/Immunology Clinic position in the Southeast Wisconsin area, with ambulatory care experience preferred and a multi-site floating schedule.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting serving allergy, immunology, and asthma/pulmonary patients
• Multi-site role rotating across several clinic locations in the greater Milwaukee/Southeast Wisconsin area, with priority given to the Oak Creek and South Milwaukee region sites
• Roughly 4–5 exam rooms per clinic site
• Average patient volume of 16–24 patients per shift, with 2–3 RNs on per shift
• 40-hour work week on 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements
• Floating required within the clinic territory; the Good Hope location is on the north side of Milwaukee and may add commute distance
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; most recent experience must be within the last year
• Ambulatory care and allergy/immunology experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in triage, rooming patients, performing spirometry, and administering IT injections
• Comfort with pediatric patients and IV skills preferred
• At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year required for consideration
• Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include triaging patients, rooming, performing spirometry, and administering immunotherapy (IT) injections
• Orientation length is based on previous skillset
• A clinical interview with the manager is required, with the manager giving final approval
• No holiday coverage requirements
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
