American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) night shift position requiring at least 2 years of recent SNF experience and active MO or compact RN licensure.

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
• Night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 18:45–07:15 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Patient ratio of 1:5 with an average daily census of 56
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Floating within the service line may be required between departments, units, and facilities
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling accommodations available
• Free parking is available on-site

Requirements

• Active RN license in Missouri (MO) or a compact state; both a Kansas and Missouri license (or compact equivalent) must be in hand, as floating between facilities may require licensure in both states
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent SNF specialty experience required, including at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no employment gap greater than 90 days
• Proficiency in a broad range of clinical skills including: blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, PICC/central line care, IV/IM/SQ/rectal/oral/inhaled medication administration, wound care and pressure ulcer assessment, colostomy care, incontinence management, narcotic count, oxygen administration, pulse oximetry, fall prevention, infection control, and isolation/PPE protocols
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Pending licenses are not accepted — active licensure must be in hand at time of consideration
• 2 professional references required: one must be supervisor level or above, the second may be a charge RN; all references must be from individuals who have worked with the candidate within the past year

• RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the contract
• Any RTO or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Travel partners are not accepted for this position
• Pre-compliance modules are required and typically completed before the start date; expect approximately 10–15 hours of module work
• Drug screening is required; a diluted or positive result that cannot be cleared will result in cancellation and a 6-month waiting period before reapplying
• Candidates with a home address within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
