American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position at a teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA, with rapid start requirements and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Located in a 111-bed teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington (Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland)
• 14-bed Medical ICU on the 2nd floor with a primary focus on medical cases and minimal cardiac
• Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory, cardiac, and some trauma cases
• Patient ratio is 1:2 with a charge nurse who is free of patient assignment
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) is used occasionally
• EMR is Paragon; experience is expected
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Medical ICU experience preferred; TNCC preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• This is a rapid-response position — candidates must be able to start within 7–10 days of offer acceptance
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
