American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Surgery Operating Room position in Iowa, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS certification.

Details

• Position is based in an Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Specialty focus is neurosurgery cases
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• On-call requirement of approximately 10–12 days per month
• Every 3rd weekend on call
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted for this position; a local pay rate is available for Iowa-based candidates
• ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications may be relevant depending on assignment scope
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date
