American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ED Hold/MS Tele float position requiring a CA RN license, 2 years of ED experience, and night shift availability with weekend rotation.

• ED Hold position with float responsibilities to the MS/Tele unit when not utilized in ED Holding
• 13-week contract
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Must be willing to float to MS/Tele when not utilized in ED Hold
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evidence-based practice, patient assessments, clinical procedures (IV, Foley, wound dressings), patient and family education, telemetry monitoring, IV and ventilator management, and safe medication administration
• Expected to recognize changes in patient condition and serve as a patient advocate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
