American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Acute Dialysis (Outpatient) position in South Burlington, VT, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient dialysis setting located in South Burlington, VT
• Patient population consists of chronic renal (ESRD) patients
• Shifts vary and may include 8-, 9-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts as needed
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday; no block schedules
• Saturday work is required
• Floating to satellite locations in St. Albans and Berlin, VT is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4-week contract

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required; NY candidates with proof of pending licensure will also be considered
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Must have reliable personal transportation, as public transit is not accessible in this area; all-season or snow tires recommended November through April
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor are required for consideration, with at least one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide dialysis nursing care to chronic ESRD patients in an outpatient clinic environment
• Candidates must be available to start within one week of offer
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; those between 51–100 miles are eligible for the travel pay rate; distance is measured in a straight line, not by driving distance
• No time off requests will be accommodated; no block schedules for any reason
• All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
