American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an outpatient Cath Lab/EP position at an ambulatory cardiology office in Burbank, CA, requiring EP or Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory cardiology office setting
• Supports the EP Device Division, including remote report and alert management via MURJ
• Adult cardiac patient population — consults and follow-ups only
• Provides triage for urgent patient symptoms and supervises stress tests
• Supports the back-office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
• Floating between facilities within the state of California is expected

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; must be in hand within 2 weeks of applying
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• EP RN experience strongly preferred; Cath Lab or CVICU experience considered in lieu
• EP technician and device management experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact the process
• RTO or scheduling requests must be communicated upfront — post-offer requests may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
