American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient EP Lab position in Burbank, CA, requiring EP and device management experience with Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory cardiology office setting supporting the EP Device Division
• Adult cardiac patients only; consult and follow-up visits
• Utilizes MURJ for remote device reports and alerts
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within California; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; must be in hand within 2 weeks of applying
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of EP RN experience required
• EP device management experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include supporting the EP Device Division, triaging urgent patient symptoms, supervising stress tests, and assisting the back-office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; requests must be disclosed at time of submission as post-offer requests may be denied
