American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Nursing Supervisor position at a community hospital in Maine, requiring a minimum of 4 years of acute care experience and ED background.

Details

• Community hospital setting in a house supervisor capacity
• Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week
• Responsible for hospital-wide supervision and coordination of nursing care activities in the absence of the CNO and Unit Directors
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maine or a compact state license currently in hand
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• BSN required (graduate of an accredited nursing program)
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience required
• Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Demonstrated leadership skills in communication, organization, conflict management, and problem-solving
• Ability to function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for overall management of the facility during night hours, including coordination of age-appropriate patient care activities in the absence of the CNO
• Provides supervision and coordination of nursing care across all nursing units in the absence of Unit Directors
