American Traveler is seeking an experienced Infusion/Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion center position requiring ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification and a minimum of 2 years of infusion or oncology experience.

Details

• Outpatient infusion center setting serving oncology, hematology, and non-oncology patient populations
• Patient mix is approximately 85% hematology/oncology and 15% non-oncology (rheumatology, GI, neurology, pulmonology)
• Patients receive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts, with typical start times between 7:15–7:45 AM and end times around 4:00 PM
• Shifts may extend until the last patient is seen
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• EMR: Epic (required)
• Floating between all facilities within Washington State is expected

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification
• OCN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology setting required; inpatient oncology experience may be considered
• Experience with IM and subcutaneous injections required
• Therapeutic phlebotomy experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies to oncology, hematology, and non-oncology patients
• Refusal to float between facilities within Washington State may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
