American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit position requiring at least one completed travel assignment and NY RN licensure, with night shift availability including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Ability to safely assess and implement patient lifts and transfers
• 2 references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager from within the past year and within the rehab specialty required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors patient progress
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential in this role
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility may not be eligible for travel pay rates
