American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a women's hospital in Arlington, TX, requiring at least 1 year of high-risk OB L&D travel experience and active NRP, ACLS, and intermediate fetal monitoring certifications.

Details

• Labor & Delivery/OBED unit located within a women's hospital setting, floors 1 & 2
• 23-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• High-risk OB patient population including magnesium drip and insulin drip management
• Procedures include circulating and scrubbing in the OR in addition to standard high-risk OB care
• EMR: CPN/Meditech
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• On-call requirement of 1 shift every 4 weeks
• Floating required within the women's service line, including Postpartum and Antepartum units
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted), NRP Advanced 9th Edition (American Academy of Pediatrics), and intermediate or advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring or NCCEFM
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent travel RN experience specifically in high-risk OB L&D
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSN accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• OBED experience is preferred
• High-risk and high-volume L&D experience is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
