American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric OR position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma pediatric hospital in Boston, requiring prior travel nursing and pediatric OR experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 485 staffed beds — Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, and NICU Level III/IV
• Pediatric OR unit with a high level of acuity
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Up to 4 off-shifts every six weeks
• Short call required up to 3 times every six weeks
• Up to 1 weekend shift and 1 weekend call required every six weeks
• Holiday shift and call coverage required as needed by the unit
• Charting via Cerner
• OR scrubs are provided by the facility; all other units wear any solid color

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in an OR setting required
• Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may receive a different pay rate
• Discounted parking is available on-site for evening shifts, with free parking for night shift; daytime off-site parking is available at a discounted rate with shuttle service provided
