American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting, requiring at least two years of recent hospital case management experience and proficiency in Cerner and other key platforms.

Details

• Acute care hospital case management unit serving an adult and geriatric patient population
• Caseload ratio of 1:25–30 patients
• Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, plus one full weekend every four weeks
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• EMR systems used include Cerner, CarePort, AllScripts, Powerchart, and Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required at time of consideration
• Minimum two years of recent, consecutive acute care hospital case management experience within the past 24 months required
• Discharge planning experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Degree must be from an accredited school, or from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) combined with two years of qualifying experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Experience with Cerner, CarePort, AllScripts, Powerchart, and Epic required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include completing initial patient assessments and revisiting patients at minimum every third day
• Proof of vaccination status required; declinations are not accepted
• This is a smoke-free facility
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are considered at a lower rate
• Candidates living beyond 60 miles are eligible for the standard travel rate
