American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a fast-paced cardiac catheterization and EP lab setting in Missouri, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and a valid MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit
• Five procedure rooms: 3 Cath rooms and 2 EP rooms (one EP room currently under renovation)
• Average of 18–20 cases per day covering adult patients with coronary diagnostic and interventional diagnoses
• Additional procedures include peripheral diagnostic and intervention, cardioversion, and TEE
• Equipment includes Philips and Siemens X-ray systems, ACIST, SyncVision, and MacLab hemodynamic monitoring
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 4x10-hour day shifts with rotating start times (6:30–17:00, 7:30–18:00, or 10:00–20:30)
• On-call obligations of 2 days per week and every other weekend
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand at time of consideration)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency in circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrub tech skills preferred
• Structural heart experience preferred
• Familiarity with GE MacLab hemodynamic system preferred
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before being considered as a traveler
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required before returning
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
